Family camp day 2

Liam says “finger knitting is the tedious task of carrying a giant ball of yarn around.” He knitted something for his secret buddy.

River always had at least one stick, and often two.

Willow really loved the necklace mama made her.

Liam played games of all kinds.

Willow and River each worked really hard on necklaces for their secret buddies.

Liam played a very serious game of chess.

River was nearly adopted by the Crocker family. He was especially attached to Silas, who will forever be Thiwath to me.

In the cutthroat crafting challenge, some teams took it very seriously and made some incredible crests.

Our team had a lot of kids so our creation was more simple, but we had a lot of fun and the judges were kind.

After crafting it started raining. The pool can’t open during thunderstorms, so we took a group of kids back to our cabin for games and ice cream and a movie.

Before dinner, we sang and danced on the deck of the lodge during harmony half hour.

There was lots of fort play.

Liam has been out with friends a lot at camp so we don’t see him as much, but we are always glad when we get a few minutes with him.

After dinner, we had a drum circle. John from drum time brought lots of percussion instrument and we all played outside by the fire pit.

Liam was off playing dungeons and dragons with his friends.
